The QLD Youth Championship 2025 is the competitive climax of Zhik Youth Sail QLD, taking place from 25–27 September at Keppel Bay Sailing Club in Yeppoon. This three-day event follows a comprehensive coaching clinic and invites young sailors from across Queensland to put their racing skills into action.
Open to all Australian Sailing-affiliated junior and youth classes—including a Green Fleet division in the sheltered Causeway Lake—it provides a supportive venue for developing sailors to gain real regatta experience.
The emphasis remains on participation, skill-building, and community rather than competition intensity, helping emerging sailors become more confident and capable in race environments.
