The Green & Intermediate Fleet at Whitsunday Sailing Club is a regular Sunday program held before Off The Beach (OTB) racing events, designed for sailors who have completed a basic learn-to-sail course and are ready to take the next step.
This entry-level racing fleet focuses on building confidence, developing fundamental racing skills, and creating a fun, supportive environment for new sailors. Participants in the Blue Fleet are beginning to attend local regattas, gaining experience in the Green Fleet, while Intermediate Fleet sailors work on refining techniques and preparing for more competitive events.
With guidance from experienced instructors, these sessions provide a smooth transition from training to racing, helping sailors grow skills, enjoy time on the water, and take part in the wider sailing community.
