The Twilight Races at Whitsunday Sailing Club offer the perfect blend of relaxed sailing and friendly competition, set against the stunning backdrop of a Whitsunday sunset. Held regularly on Wednesday afternoons, these races welcome sailors of all experience levels, from seasoned crew to first-time participants keen to get out on the water.
Races are generally held on a triangular course, with Multihulls (Div 1) and faster Monohulls (Div 2) completing three laps, and smaller or slower Monohulls doing two laps.
Every crew member needs to be a club member, but you can get a daily SailPass membership for $15.00. Visit the club at 2:30 to see if there are spots open.
