Mark your calendars for an unforgettable week of fast cats and friendly faces—the 45th Nacra National Titles will be hosted by Whitsunday Sailing Club in Airlie Beach from 25 - 31 October 2025. Registration opens on 25 October, with racing to begin the following day.
This event carries both prestige and heart, with Whitsunday Sailing Club renowned for welcoming sailors into a relaxed yet well-equipped setting. Its spacious grass rigging area, waterfront bar and restaurant, and expansive verandah overlooking turquoise racing waters make it the perfect venue.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Whitsundays - just a boat ride from Hamilton Island, Whitehaven Beach, and vibrant tourist highlights - the event promises spectacular surroundings as well as spirited racing.
This year’s titles are extra special, doubling as the 40th anniversary of the Nacra 5.8 class in Australia and coinciding with global celebrations of Nacra’s 50th anniversary. Long-standing sailors and first-timers alike are invited to crew up and reconnect over social events, a Whitehaven Beach excursion, spectator boats, and special divisions for classic 5.8 boats.
Expect novelty and cash prizes, and a warm reminder of how close competition and camaraderie go hand in hand.
