As part of the 34th Airlie Beach Race Week, Whitsunday Sailing Club will also be hosting the Queensland Trailable Yacht & Sports Boat championship. Conducted in accordance with Australian Sailing’s Australian Class Based Handicap (CBH) Rating System for Trailable Yachts and Sports Boats, the event will be open to complying boats holding a current CBH or who fully complies with relevant class rules.

Eligible boats in the trailable yacht fleet will therefore be eligible for more than one set of results during Airlie Beach Race Week, with the ABRW results calculated using the regatta’s Performance Handicap System (PHS) while those with current CBH will also be eligible for results calculated using the CBH rule.

It is likely that the fleet will be split into two divisions to ensure boats of similar performance are directly competing.
