Whitsunday Sailing Club trading as Whitsunday Maritime Training Centre is a registered training organisation offering nationally recognised marine courses and Yachting Australia sailing courses.

Our instructors are active skippers who can assist students to achieve the most suitable training for their individual needs.

We are also a Sailing Club which hosts major offbeach and offshore regattas. Students can if they wish participate in offshore or offbeach racing as crew to complement the practical component of courses.

Flexible delivery
For Coxswains, MED 3 and Radar Master 5 & 4, we specialise in flexible delivery with our instructors available to assist students by appointment.

Our classrooms are situated at Whitsunday Sailing Club, Airlie Point in the heart of Airlie Beach overlooking Pioneer Bay.

Facilities include an all weather dinghy basin and boat launching ramp.
Our clubhouse and balcony overlook the water and offer bar, bistro, and gaming machine facilities. The training rooms are situated in the downstairs area of the clubhouse.

There is an excellent variety of accommodation options within walking distance.
