Pete Millar (Pin Head), Dave Chittleborough (Chippy) and their crew left Able Point Marina yesterday to start their Brisbane to Gladstone campaign in Pin Head's Grainger catermaran 'Cynaphobe'
This is the first blue water test for the speed machine and the boys will be hoping for some good southerlys to give them great down hill slides.
The Whitsunday Sailing Club gave a cash donation and the crew uniforms - the famous "Airlie Beach - a drinking town with a sailing problem'. Marlin Marine, Quadrent Marine, Home Hardware and Derek Holroyd are also supporting the campaign.
The crew is:
Pin Head - owner/naviguesser
Chippy - Skipper
Hayden Turnbul
Reece Alderdice
Shayne Beyer
Rupert King
We wish them the best of luck and you can track their progress on the Brisbane to Gladstone site:
